She finally confirmed her pregnancy on the ?Today? show this morning (October 28) and Mariah Carey is thrilled to be expecting.
The ?Touch My Body? babe also shared the pain of her miscarriage two years ago, and how that?s affected both herself and husband Nick Cannon.
Mariah explained, ?We really had to absorb this and take it in. Honestly, I feel we learned a lot as people. It prepared us to do it.?
Nick added that they received a call from their doctor that brought their world crashing down back in 2008. "Unfortunately, that was the time where he said, 'I'm sorry, but the pregnancy is not successful.? It was emotional for both of us and that's when I saw the strength.?
?She handled it so well and then to get on the plane and have to spend Christmas with friends and family, it definitely brought us closer together. It strengthened our relationship so much ... she handled it so well."
